White Stone Holiday is definitely the best tour operator we have ever used! Not just in Nepal but in comparison with other day tour operators we have engaged in OTHER countries, they definitely are the best in our eyes. Their service is very personalised and you can tell that the tour guides are genuine in taking care of you throughout the entire tour.
We joined the Everest trek with them in late Oct 2013. And no regrets! Yes there are some places like Tengboche, which we ended up not visiting due to the bad weather and thick snow cover in the high mountains and we were quite disappointed. But that had nothing to do with them, could only blame the weather and our luck. The guides really tried their best to bring us to these places, and only took the decision not to proceed in order not to compromise our safety. Unfortunately we went during a period of bad weather in the mountains and ended up not seeing any, though Subdan the guide (or Rai) did hike to many many places to try to find a place with no/little cloud cover.
I love taking photos and had lots of photo opportunities there. The guides would slow down/stop even without my request so that I could capture my perfect shot.
Will definitely recommend White Stone Holiday to friends/family going to Nepal. Haha we think the guides we have commended above deserve a pay raise for a job well done.
